Oskar Lindströms project its-gratis.com is an innovative solution to the problem of the economics of art, but in particular turns it into a concept. It’s not just a different way to make money with art, but also questions what value art has today, and what the consequences of sharing, and open source access does for fine art.
Everyone who purchases a picture becomes a pin marker on a world map on its-gratis.com, the more people who purchase pictures, the better the project becomes. You can also support and take part in the project by sending me documentation of your ordered pictures in use to email@example.com. Your documentation is shown together with your pin marker on its-gratis.com and in future project presentations and exhibitions.
You can purchase any of the more than 1000 pictures on its-gratis.com. To purchase, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the file name of your chosen picture/pictures as subject, e.g. the file name gratis-24. Include your delivery address in the email.
